Polypropylene (OPP) film is most commonly used for these products, where a short life is needed and a simple cost-effective solution is required as a basic barrier to protect against contamination during packing, handling, transportation and storage.

Polyester (PET) film is generally used for Food-to-go products, which are kept heated or can be put in an oven or microwave.

We can offer these films in several thicknesses from stock including 20mu, 25mu, 30mu, 35mu, 40mu and 50mu available as:

Where an extended shelf-life is required, we can offer additional barrier films which are suitable for gas-flushing and modified atmosphere packing (MAP).
